Learning Swedish is a good idea. It could give oneself a great opportunity to meet new people, but I would also like to learn my father's dialect, first. I could catch a hint when I was a little girl. But now I forgot a great part of it. I can just remember that days in my father's dialect are about the same as in English, except for the pronunciation at the end. How is it in Swedish ?
