Gamla stan: the royal palace - Stockholm - Sweden
The royal palace is locate in the old town of Stockholm. It has been rebuilt in the beggining of the 18th century when the old Tre Kronor castle was destroyed by fire in 1695. The palace is still inhabited but can be partly visited.
The guard change takes place on the outer courtyard. The guard comes by the Norrmalm bridge with their horses for the changing of the guards. Some "small" changes of the guards occurs also without the horses and big ceremony.

Sweden
Midsummer is an old fest in Sweden. The house are decorated with birch. The midsommarstången is decorated with leaves abd flower. And people dance around like on the photos (Nätragillet is the folk dansgroup).
In other part of Sweden (Scania, Bohuslän and Jämtland), people do also midsummer fire.
