Rivers, Canals and Klongs of Bangkok - Bangkok - Thailand
Between the big rivers and canals of Bangkok, there are plenty of small canal, called klong. The city lives was organised around the Klongs. The houses on the side were accessible only by boat.
It is possible to have a tour in the Klong Network and to see the constrast between the big and polluted street of Bangkok, the big building, and this small area with small house, nature, garden in the middle of Bangkok.

Östersund - Sweden
Östersund is located in Jämtland near a lake called Storsjön (the big lake). In this lake a big animal is living that you will perhaps see if you are lucky...
There is a big island on this lake, called Frösön, whith a lot of possible activities.
In the Jamtli museum, there is an exhibition about the life in Jämtland. There is also a copy of a rune stone that is actually located in Frösön. This runestone recalled the arrivals of christiannity in this place (1050).
