Uspenski Cathedral - Helsinki Finlande

Uspenski Cathedral is the largest orthodox church in western europe. It was built by Aleksander M. Gornostajev in 1868. It was built directly on the rock wich is under Helsinki. The church has 13 golden cupolas and the influence of russia on Finland can clearly be seen in its architecture.

Norrfällsviken
This fisher village is a typical village of the high coast with the red house. It is situated in a bay. The wood sticks on the photo are made to hang up the boat out of the sea. There is a very good fish restaurant, unfortunatly open only in summer time.
