Sjâlevad church has been build in 1880 to replace a older church from 1200 that has been destroyed.
It is an octogonal church that makes is quite seldom.

The Royal palace hosts the Wat Phra Kaew, i.e. the temple of the Emerald Buddha. The Emerald Buddha is one of the symbol of Thailand. The Royal temple and palace contains about 200 building, temples and chedis, that have been build over the past 200 years.
