Helsinki Finlande
The Cathedral is well integrated in the Senate square : at its left the university and the library, on the left the governement palace and on the opposite, the Sederholm House, a small blue house which is the oldest buikding in Helsinki. It has been built in stone in 1757 and is the only building that was not destroyed that the fire in 1808. The Senate Square was designed by Carl Engel during the reconstruction of Helsinki. The building of the cathderal start in 1830 and was achieved in 1852.
