Nice webpage, but Vesterålen are a separate part of Norway and has nothing to do with Lofoten! :-) Just go and see! Vesterålen have everything Lofoten has to offer, and much more! Magnificent places like Trollfjorden, and the famous old fishing-village Nyksund are situated in Vesterålen.
