Lofoten are known for the mountains that go from the sea to the clouds... There is a lot of small lakes with around some red houses. Some of these houses have grass on the roof.

I can't stop making comments about these wonderful photos! I lived in Norway for almost three years but I never made it up to Lofoten. This picture, with the wispy, low-hanging clouds, the inlet from the sea, and those lovely cottages whose roof matches the mountains just captures my gaze.

The snow is here. In a few weeks, it has been quite a lot of snow. The small shortcuts where it was still possible to go are too snowy now.
